Partner with The Hungri Yogi

Thinking you need an on-site chef for your retreat or event? You have come to the right place! The Hungri Yogi provides everything from the budgeting, shopping, preparing, serving and clean up. Rest easy knowing you can focus on what you do best. 

If you are thinking "I defiantly need a retreat chef!"  
....Ok, this is how it works: 

Step 1 - CONTACT

Contact to book a call to discuss the nature of your event. After understanding your vision and budget, I provide a price based on your needs. 

Step 2 - BOOK

After we have settled on the agreed budget, a $250 holding deposit reserves your event date and secures the price. This deposit is returned on the next invoice, but is non-refundable for canceled events. A new deposit is required for a change of date. I typically  book events 2-4 months in advance. 

STEP 3 - MENU

I send a customized menu for your group so you know what to look forward to!

Step 4 - WE GET TO WORK

7 days before your event, the first 50% is due. The final payment is submitted on the last day of the event. 

What's on the menu with The Hungri Yogi?

Here are a few tried-and-true tested classics!

LIGHT BITES

Fruit & Yogurt Bowls

Unsweetened or vanilla yogurt with fresh berries, honey,  homemade granola, nuts and seeds.

 

Hard Boiled Eggs  with Crisp Toast

Gluten free or rye crisp bread lightly salted.

 

Chia Oat Pots

Soaked chia seeds layered with fruit jam and overnight oats.

 

Fresh Fruit, Nuts

Seasonal cut fruit with raw nuts and seeds.

BREAKFASTS

Savory Scramble with Toast, Avocado or Jam

Spinach, tomato with tofu scramble or eggs.

 

Breakfast Burritos

Egg or tofu scramble with black beans, potatoes, guacamole and salsa.

 

Golden Saffron Porridge with Berries

Warm steel cut oats with saffron threads, turmeric, cinnamon, coconut palm sugar and coconut milk. Blackberries, blueberries, bananas.

LUNCH SIDES

Zucchini Fritters

Chickpea flour, zucchini, red bell peppers, scallions, carrot  with lemon garlic aioli.

 

Hummus and Veggie Pinwheels

Tortillas with hummus and veggies rolled and sliced into bite-size wheels.

DESSERTS

(low-sugar and gluten free)

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Almond Flour, chocolate chunks.

Cowboy Cookies

oats, pecans, cranberries and coconut.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

a classic flat chewy cookie with plump raisins.

 

Banana Cream Pie

Date and oat crust with banana cream, fresh bananas, and coconut whip topping.

Carrot Cake with Cashew Cream Cheese

Moist, warmly spiced & mildly sweet.

Coffee & Hot Teas

Self-Serve with cream, honey or sugar.

Hibiscus, lemon & fennel, cucumber mint, lemon balm.

Rice and Lentil Vegetable Soup

Savory broth, carrots, celery, onion, Japanese sweet potato, rice, brown lentils.

Loaded Potato Soup

Creamy, rich yet light topped with green onions and plant-based bacon seasoned bits.​​

SALADS

Citrus Joy Salad

Organic spring mix, carrot, cucumber, sprouts, pumpkin seeds, farro, golden raisins and a honey-lemon citrus vinaigrette.

Roasted Root Vegetable Salad

Beets, parsnips, butternut squash, select grains over massaged kale with a maple vinaigrette.

DINNER

Black Beans & Rice

Brown rice and seasoned black beans served with a sweet cilantro lime green salad

 

Butternut Squash Lasagna

Classic layers of marinara, pasta tofu ricotta, butternut cashew cream sauce with kale, Served with roasted broccoli, balsamic green salad.

 

African Peanut Stew

Organic spring mix, carrot, cucumber, sprouts, pumpkin seeds, farro, golden raisins and a honey-lemon citrus vinaigrette.

 

Southwest Lentil Meatloaf

Sweet, smoky and savory with a chipotle glaze.

Served with sweet mashed potatoes and green beans.
